On the fifth day of Christmas.....

....Five Gold Rings

On the 5th day of Christmas, another great game today and it was lovely to see so many people make an effort today for ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ and thank you all for supporting Save the Children.

At Southport....

It’s finally Friday, and the bells are ringing for Father Christmas and Rudolf to make their way down the stairs to the eager colleagues waiting to catch a flying sweet. A shower of candy canes descend upon the crowd and everyone settles ready for FUMBLE IN THE FUN BOX. Today’s lucky winners are Adam Hanford, Sharrona and Peterrr!!! Adam excitedly rips open his present, to find a selection box and a bottle of beer. Good job it was only the one (One Pint Wonder).

As everyone settles, it’s time to begin the game of 5 Golden Rings.

As the teams go head to head Adam Slater and Becky Vs Tasha and Kasha, the room suddenly falls silent as the concentration from team 1 kicks in. They have two minutes to put as many rings round the pegs as possible, only when all 5 rings were thrown could they be collected.

As a quick rule change mid game (definitely can do this as a game committee member) plus the pegs were far too close, a quick dash to move it further back after the first minute should do it.... when it actually MADE IT EASIER. Dammit.

After the two minutes are up, Slates walks off thinking he’s got it in the bag. Same again. Kasha and Tasha are up. Rings are flying everywhere, glitter is scattered across the carpet making the Access Point Head Office more of a Winter Wonderland than it already is (much to Dale’s disgust) mwahaha.

The game is finished and the scores are tallied up..... and the winners....of 5 Golden Rings.........KASHA AND TASHAAAA!!! Well done guys. An intense game today.

At Liverpool....

So todays game was focused around 5 gold rings.

The teams were Ali and Mark Vs Kirsty and Frank.  Ali and Mark thrashed them 375 to zero and we all thought Franks eyes had gone.....he informed us that his eyes went years ago!!

Chris Brundit dressed up and Santa and I had to personally dress him because he has broken his hand! Rob spent the whole day getting about as an Elf, he even went the shop in it and I am concerned that it may have to be surgically removed like his coat!!

The Liverpool office are into the Christmas spirit with plenty of fun and games, which have been fun with all the staff getting involved.

The highlight so far was Robert Stewarts funky turkey, it was brilliant!

This is my first proper Christmas at Access Point and I am surprised at the level of effort that is put in from all the staff especially Julie Pitson who has been great organising the whole thing to make the staff at Liverpool feel included.

Roll on the Christmas paaaaaarty.

See you Monday for Six Geese-a-Laying....should be an interesting one!!
